I have used this garage for the last 3 years I have had no issues with them. I have to say nick has been very professional and on point with the service work carried out under warranty and additional work I wanted done myself. I have also had experience with other staff members too and all have been very friendly and polite. Never once have I had any bad experience with them since bring my van to them also the technician rob has been on point and done excellent job on my van. I dont know ow why people moan or leave a bad review because they can't get what they want for free. The garage has to do certain things if under warranty VW head office to get the work paid for. There a set of rules and protocols that have to be met for them to get work done under warranty and some people on here are moaning. I had an issue with egrand it took few times to resolve because it wasn't an obvious related issue. When they found the issue they fully done the work. Also had a sliding door issue which they replaced parts and the work eas carried out in a professional manner and I have had no issues. I have had all my work done by this garage since new van and never had issue with my van. I thoroughly recommend nick for his assistance at vw cowfold his been brilliant at co ordinating all work carried out and even giving a replacement vehicle. Wonderful experience 5 star work all day. They work there socks off and try there best to keep everyone happy. Some people can't stop moaning ike little kids and spit there dummy out. Keep up the good work boys

Bought a VW van from cazoo and I complained about some issues with the van;
- noises from cambelt
- missed bottom engine tray
- noises from clutch flywheel
They agreed for full repairs.
I choose a local VW dealer close to me SMG in Cowfold even if I have a trustworthy garage.
I like to support local business and increases people around me that I can trust.
I contacted SMG to book the van in and once there I explained everything about payments conditions and what of sorts of work I clearly wanted.
SMG was contacted by Cazoo and they confirmed what I said.
When was time to Collect my van they did only one job that I clearly requested and the answers was:
Noises from cam belt;
- Just the cam belt tensioner was replaced from the technician( not the full cam belt kit even if was paid by Cazoo).
Missed tray under the engine;
-the techniciansaid: your Trendline model doesnt allow to be fitted a tray under the engine,only the Highline have it.
I replied to fit the highline parts to the trendline,they are the same van!!
The reply was: that cannot be possible.
I checked personally and there was a clearly connection (where the screws will be located) under the engine.
Basically the missed tray allowed to the impurities coming inside the engine especially on the cambelt area and bearings can be damaged easily,thats was the reason because I wanted the tray.
Ok,even if I have 5 vehicles and I doing regular maintenance on them,I accepted what the techniciansaid.
Noises from clutch;
Their technician said:nothing to worry.
Everything the techniciansaid was referred by a kindly lady from customer service desk.
I took my van and I drove to my house and after few miles the noises coming out again.
Bored about this usual situations that happened in many garages,I contacted Cazoo and I explained that after the supposed repair,all the evidently noises are still on there and they agreed to move in another garage that usually I trusted.
CCM in Cranleigh agreed for what I suspected and Cazoo confirmed about payments.
The irony was that CCM ordered all the parts at SMG:
- Cam belt kit and water pump
- BRAND NEW ENGINE TRAY
Once the new parts was fitted,noises are all gone and my van drive smooth and nice now.
Sometimes laziness from technicians destroyed the reputations of the garages where they work.
Unfortunately I cannot trust SMG anymore,
sorry Phil you are a good seller but I will buy my next vans somewhere else.

Thankfully for me Claire at SMG in Cowfold went above and beyond to sort out the service plan for my VW California in time to receive the discount. This included keeping me updated every step of the way via texts and emails despite suffering from a horrible cold.
Cannot stress the lengths she went to in order to ensure the plan was booked at the discounted price.
