Eastridge Manor

My Grandpa was placed into the care of Eastridge manor in the last couple of weeks of his life. We had previously had a poor experience at another home and so when we are advised to put him into care for the remainder of his time we as a family were so apprehensive about this, however, the team at Eastridge Manor from the moment we viewed the home completely took away that apprehension. The team are warm, friendly and caring people who are dedicated to providing quality care for some of the most venerable in society. The rooms are clean, airy and welcoming and equally the communal areas are just as inviting. The whole family is made welcome and we felt it was a safe place for us all. We have said thank you to the team at Eastridge in person and we cannot thank them enough for the dignity, care and kindness that showed us all especially my grandpa in his final moments, but I wanted to write a review to help others who maybe conflicted with the same issue that we have. The staff here restore faith in humanity but in particular the nurse who was with my grandpa in the last moments ( I cannot remember her name I am sorry) she is one of life angels. The genuine compassion and love of her job is evident. If you are looking for a new home for your loved ones this is the place. The management, the nurses and the care team are wonderful and a fantastic job is being done here. Thank you all for all your support its so appreciated and we as a family cannot thank you enough. My father was resident at Eastridge for about 3 months. I can say the level of care was outstanding. The staff were empathetic and caring both physical and emotionally. The home has lovely grounds and is clean, tidy and well staffed. I can highly recommend Eastridge.

Eastridge Manor is a very efficient, caring and happy nursing home. We had a very elderly friend there recently and I can only say the care was second to none. The food was excellent, laundry was cared for as if it belonged to the ladies concerned and the staff are all wonderful from top to bottom always smiling, always welcoming and however busy always found time to answer any questions we had. A home is only as good as its manager and his/her team and Jenny's team, all of them are the very, very best.
