My experience that I get from the surgery is rudeness, phone being put down on me, receptionist giving me my results and NOT the doctor plus on the phone so everyone else in the surgery can hear. I feel that this surgery in unprofessional half of the time. I dont like to give a bad reviews but I am not happy with the service that I get all the time.

I think the majority of staff are very good, my experience with the female doctors has been excellent, theres been one or two problems with receptionists but normally quiet minor with one recent exception, overall Im happy to be registered with them and all my recent doctors have been very caring, what patients may not appreciate is that a doctor will get there about 8.15 and quite often leave at 8pm, one caring doctor I spoke too said that she quite often wakes in the night wondering if shes done the right thing, seems a very conscientious doctor

Its a shame that I feel compelled to write this, as not everything is bad about this Surgery. I can only speak from my experience and in that case compared to previous Surgeries that I have been registered with, this one falls far short in duty of care. I am an inflammatory arthritis sufferer and take drugs that require blood monitoring at specific intervals. This is not followed up consistently by CMG. All my previous GP surgeries were very on the ball with arranging these tests. Not so here- 9 times out of 10, if I dont arrange it it will be forgotten about. My rheumatologist has complained to me many times, that they have never received any results from the surgery in over 2 years. My rheumatologist also had to literally fight for me to be treated for high blood pressure! My GP just didnt think that consistent readings above NICE guidelines were a problem! I am also on medication for suspected benign prostatic hyperplasia, meaning poor urine flow, stopping /starting etc etc. OK symptoms typical of BPH, but also Prostate Cancer. All my previous doctors offered me a PSA test annually. I am fully happy with the implications of this test and consider it to be a good thing to detect any upward trend and ensure that the medication I take isnt masking something far more sinister. I have asked 2 GPs at Cowfold for a test and my request has been denied by both. Totally against my right to a test under NHS guidelines ( Prostate Cancer risk management programme) . Im in my early sixties. I intend to battle once more for a test. Have reported the situation to Prostate Cancer U.K. who have indicated that they will contact the surgery to remind them of the protocol. This leaves me with little confidence in Cowfold Medical Group. I so wish I could go back to the excellent surgery in Billingshurst or the equally excellent surgery, Riverside in Horsham.
