This was our second stay in the lovely ground floor apartment (Blue Waves), and we enjoyed it even more than the first time! The interior is stylish and comfortable we really feel so at home here. Kim obviously takes great care to keep the interior looking great, as it had recently been repainted. The prosecco and locally produced shortbread are lovely touches upon arrival. The apartment is surprisingly spacious with its separate living room and eat-in kitchen and the beds are really comfortable, including the sofa bed. I also love the bathroom with its great rain shower. The kitchen is very well equipped - I love to cook when I am on holiday, as I rarely have time to do so during normal life, and I found everything that I needed. The smart TV with Netflix included makes it really easy to watch whatever you like without having to mess about casting from other devices! The Bluetooth speaker was also very welcome, allowing me to enjoy music as I cooked. It's just a couple of minutes to walk down into Cowes, which is lovely and quaint. It was a real treat to have an M&S foodhall so close by, especially now that our local M&S has closed! There seem to be lots of interesting places to eat, although we only tried the Pier View one lunch time, and it was lovely. If you come without a car, as we did, the location of the apartment is great. Its less than 5 minutes walk from the Red Jet passenger ferry terminal, and there is a bus stop at the end of the road. The bus service is really great, with a bus every 10 minutes into Newport , from where you can get anywhere you want on the island from the small bus station. We never had to wait more than a few minutes for a bus to get anywhere, and the tracking service on the Southern Vectis app is very reliable. I found the 7 day ticket to be very good value, especially as it includes the special services, like the Needles Breezer, which is to be recommended for lovely views. Kim is a lovely host, being extremely responsive and she clearly cares a great deal about making sure that her guests get the most from their stay. We wouldnt hesitate to stay here again.

I stayed here for three nights. The ground floor is called blue waves and the upper floors are called blue winds. I stayed in both rooms. One night in blue waves and two nights in blue winds. Both parts are cozy and beautiful. The upper floors have more room which are more suitable for families. And upper floors mean a better view. You can see the sea on the top balcony. And the householder is very kind. Highly recommend!

Blue Waves is a spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated apartment in an excellent location in Cowes. We were travelling without a car and it was a perfect base for seeing the island with a bus stop less than a minute's walk away providing a fast service every 10 mins into Newport. It's also easy to get to on foot from the RedJet and RedFunnel terminals. The flat was spacious and comfortable with a fully equipped kitchen, washing machine, and TV with iPlayer and other apps. Even make-up remover was provided! We really enjoyed our stay.
