Loads of instruments available and the shop is well laid out. Highly recommend for any repair works or wanting a new instrument.

I have have made two visits to Willy's Guitar Shop in recent weeks, first visit was to drop off a guitar for repair and the second visit to collect. I have to say that both visits have been extremely pleasant. My son Morgan has Autism and is roughly 18 months into his guitar journey which is having a positive impact on him and the people around him. Roland the gentleman at the shop was very accommodating to my son and showed patience, understanding and gave encouragement. My son was really pleased with the guitar after it was collected was was overjoyed with the new strings and the fact his guitar had been cleaned and looked real nice. On the second visit my son was allowed to sit in the shop and play one of the Bass Guitars and Roland fetched a guitar and played along with him, which was a nice touch. My wife and I along with our son left the shop extremely happy. We will be going back again. With that said I would Just like to draw attention to a negative review left by Dave Murphy just over a year ago who says that he went to the shop with an Autistic child but did not enter due to the sign on the door which read " no mask on your face, you big disgrace " and felt this was discriminating against an Autistic child who is mask exempt ( as is my Autistic child ). Now if I had been greeted by that sign it would have straight away been reminded of the classic song " We will rock you" by Queen, one of the greatest rock bands in history and the song itself was written by Brian May one of the greatest guitarists of all time ( Uhumm this is a guitar shop after all ). Ok , so the words were changed to reflect the climate at that time, just coming out of a pandemic and the importance of face coverings, I personally would of seen this as mild humour and in no way discriminating. Had Mr Murphy popped his head in the door and explained his needs I am sure they would have been met. So to leave a very negative review about a shop you didn't even enter because of a sign you clearly didn't understand is a bit unfair.
