I remember happily the days young people used to swim in the River Tern just south of Market Drayton. No longer -- at least not safely. I am disgusted to read about the number of times raw sewage is pumped into streams and rivers in the Severn catchment area (and beyond). Dividends given to shareholders should be diverted into infrastructure investment until this disgraceful situation is cleared up.
