Booked an appointment 2 weeks ago. Artist was supposed to send me his bank details for a deposit but didn't. When I messaged to confirm the appointment was told I didn't have one and that it was my fault because I didn't pay a deposit. Then he realised I had tried to reach out and so confirmed my appointment, asking me how long I wanted. Next day on the morning of the appointment cancelled me because he had "double booked" me. Im not sure how he wouldn't have known that the evening before confirming my 2.00pm appointment. I offered a deposit in store on the day appointment was booked and I followed all of the instructions from the artist, I am self employed and cancelled work at a cost to myself because of this appointment. The artist attitude was that its the weekend and people have weekends off. I understand that mistakes happen but he confirmed the appointment just the day before and his attitude to me as a customer was very rude and unprofessional. Reflecting badly on the studio with no offer of resolution. Your offering a service and that starts with every interaction.
