    EDIT: I hadn't initially added any text to this review but thought I should after a questionable and unprofessional response from H2l in my opinion. Some of the reasons for my 1-star review are as follows: The communication from this company is possibly the worst I have ever received from any business. I found H2L incredibly hard to get hold of due to a web of mailboxes for different purposes, text services and couldnt get through to anybody on the office or even the so-called emergency phone number. My biggest issue came when trying to hand the notice in, unfortunately I didn't read the contract properly and handed in the notice 5 days into July which meant we had to keep the property on until the end of August. Very annoying but my fault entirely. I feltthe way I was spoken to however by the agent/landlord, Carl was rude and condescending and it was a very stressful time as we were trying to secure our new property and didnt need the extra headache. All communication relating to the exit was over email which I felt made things more difficult. We had an issue with the living room heater on one occasion, we contacted the agents, by text as we couldnt get through on the phone and we were told that wed have to wait about a week (I cant remember how long exactly) for someone to come and have a look as the landlords electrician was on holiday. Not an acceptable response in my opinion. The reference process was also a bit of a challenge and almost resulted in us losing our new property as H2L didn't provide a reference in a timely manner. H2L advised that they tried to provide the reference verbally over the phone, which was rejected. I would have thought that an estate agent would understand that this isn't an acceptable form of reference. The contract states that the tenant should receive a copy of the video inventory (taken when handing the keys over at the start) once notice has been given. I wasnt provided a copy of the video when we handed our notice in, nor was I provided a copy of the video or a response when I requested it via email, 7 times over 17 days. Then came the end of our contract, we werent contacted regarding handing the keys back and doing an inventory as they said we would be and I again didnt get a response to my email for an update on that either. They did however respond to a text on the last day of our contract to say that they dont work Bank Holidays, leave the keys through the letterbox and theyd go to the property the next day to check it out. The only positive I have to offer is that H2L did replace the windows for double glazing during our tenancy, unfortunately though it didn't help with the cold in the flat as it is a coach house so is completely exposed from beneath. Overall I feel my experience with H2L was very poor.

    Well what can I say about H2L. The team have been fab and did what they said they would do which is rare these days. Also insight they were able to give us was also very useful for first time to let a property! I think they offer value for money and would use again. Well done!

    I have had dealings with H2L for just over a month to find/view and sign for our new rented house. From the very first viewing H2L shocked me! Over the last three months I had been seeing around 3-5 properties a week with the intention of finding our first martial home, every viewing and letting agent I have dealt with have come NO WHERE CLOSE to these guys. Right from the off, they were friendly, knowledgeable and took time to let us view the house properly as apposed to all the other estate agents; where they rush you through, leaving you so they could deal with the next people to view and then only want to talk money and throw forms at you whilst ushering you out the door. We were able to take our time, we felt at ease and they were on hand to answer any of the questions I/we had even till late evening. The fact that they kept us updated as to how many was viewing the property, the processes; what the landlord and neighbours were like was great!!! The whole process was a breeze and worry free, which was very refreshing considering I like to be in control and worry about everything, I cannot recommend them enough! Thank you H2L x
