Please do yourself a favour and avoid this agency. The lettings team are absolutely incompetent. Repairs and issues take an unacceptable amount of time to be addressed, and never resolved correctly if at all. Marston's do everything on the cheap and use questionable contractors to carry out works. The moment you raise any issue, you'll wait months before anything is done, sometimes years. After multiple calls and emails to remind them about said issue, you'll get plenty of apologies and lip service but don't expect it to be resolved. Certainly without return visits. Trust me, everything is a temporary fix. Their primary and secondary concerns are the rent money. The health and wellbeing of their renters are of no concern to them.

The worst managing agent I have ever had to deal with. They do nothing until threatened with court action.

Staff are very unreliable, unhelpful and very rude! They don't listen and they don't follow their own advise!!

Avoid! Avoid! Avoid! We were tenants with them for years and in that time I can say from excruciating experience that they will not complete a job, no matter how much of an emergency. They fob you off, pretend they're waiting on workmen to call, however when you do speak to someone they can prove that no calls or job sheets have been sent through until after the third time you 'chased it up'. Happy to leave the tenants in homes with leaky roofing, mould growing up the walls, rats getting into the property and faulty electrics that mean you have no hot water. The level of service and competence of this 'management' agency is so poor and so underwhelming that I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy. The only concern of E H Marston is whether they get your money and how much of a 'slap-dash' they can do to extort more rent money out of you. I cannot express it enough, Avoid! Avoid! Avoid! 0 stars!!!
