I called the service to fix a small leaking issue in cistern and to change the inlet valve. Though the actual work would not required more than a hour, the technician quoted 1.5 hours to fix the leak and an additional 1 hour to change the inlet valve. Finally i decided just fix the leak issue for a bill of 142. They are not charging on hourly basis, they are charging 1 hour charge for each minor issue.

I call an emergency 24h plumbing service and they ensured the plumber would fix the water liking for 120 in total. Then, Southern Cross Plumbing came to fix the water liking and check the heating system. The gentleman spent three hours fixing and fixed the problem (He did a good job). However, he charged for every hour and the total bill was 371. When I disagree to pay this extorsion bill, he became aggressive and threated to smash my windows.
