The Play House Nursery

Couldnt recommend this nursery enough. My little boy started age 2 and 4 months, we had never been away from each other and he was born just before lock down started so naturally he was very attached to me. Well to tell the truth we were very attached to each other. The Playhouse nursery let him have many settling in sessions to get him used to it, first off with me attending nursery with him, then me leaving for half an hour and then gradually increasing the time I left him for until he was ready to start his full days. This really put my mind at ease as I also got upset leaving him for the first time, I have visited a few other nurseries before choosing here and they only did 1/2 settling in sessions. The nursery looks clean with a variety of different toys, for the children to play with, and a beautiful little garden with sheltered area so the children get to go outside whatever the weather, they have climbing equipment, bikes etc. The staff all seem friendly and always have a smile on their faces. We love my sons key worker. Whenever I have asked if my son can attend an extra hour or two its never been a problem. Every occasion they really put so much effort in and do lots of arts and crafts with the children such as Christmas cards, mother day gifts etc it really is such a lovely touch and things I will treasure forever. Before my son started nursery when we went to parks, play centres etc he didnt socialise well with other children he has now flourished and will play beautifully and share with other children. Im looking forward to watching my son continue to grow at this amazing nursery and would recommend it to any parent.

Our little boy has attended Playhouse Nursery since February 2022 when he was around 10 months old. I was nervous about sending him to nursery so young, but the friendly and welcoming staff made it so easy for him to settle in that any concerns I had disappeared immediately! He strides into nursery with a big smile on his face and looks disappointed when I turn up to collect him but I think this is a good sign! We've been so impressed with the staff who have been simply incredible! I'd highly recommend Playhouse Nursery and thank you for all that you do!

The Playhouse is a fantastic nursery. The staff have been so accommodating and flexible with my boy starting at nursery with them. We have relocated to Coventry and they have offered to fit in settling in days wherever they can. All the staff are so friendly and caring and have really asked about and listened to his needs. After his first 2 hours he came back smiling with 3 pictures he had made! He napped there on his first day which shows how safe he felt there. They do a daily handover and give specifics of what he has been up to and what he had enjoyed. I'm confident my boy will be happy and develop and learn lots while he is there. He also has a vegetarian diet and reusable nappies which they have accomodated no problem.
