Pros: - clean - personable owner - at least one stylist who was clearly an expert on braiding Cons - variable service, had braids installed the same time as another lady. The other lady would have scored them a 5, a 2 seems too generous from me. The lady doing the other clients hair was twice as fast and precise in her finishing (think her name was Nana). The lady doing my hair did not seem to understand how to work with 4c hair and didnt take pride in her work: - tried to detangle root to ends -applied oil after detangling instead of before - blow dried my hair without heat protectant (luckily I had applied some at home) - left the ends of the hair unfinished, by morning they started to unravel. For 130, pretty poor work. The owner assisted in the completion of mine so is also culpable - she should lead by example and require higher standards from her staff. I spent over an hour the next day redoing braids that had unravelled. If you go here, ask to use Nana and only her. UPDATE: Removed a star. We had no conversation about heat protectant. Key issue was unraveling braids. Messaged the owner next morning with comments along the lines of the review. Response below. Like I said (and other clients agree), if its not Nana dont bother: Hello Sorry for what's happening which is unusual,as we desired the hair with hot water. Am happy to sort out the problem. Let me know when your free, but unfortunately not this Saturday as am full booked. I appreciate you text me, and I just saw the review on the Google page I will be in the shop Monday to Friday between 10 to 5.30. Sorry for inconvenience corse. Regards Tuse

Knowledgeable and helpful staff. Would recommend if buying a wig, hair extensions or hair products/accessories

Okay so looked for a good hair products shop and they had it all plus free product consult just to make sure you getting the exact stiff you need without the upsell some places try and do... Just my thoughts .
