He has a deep understanding of music theory and practical techniques, which he explains clearly and becouse English isn't my first language he often goes out of his way to break things down for me. He is wery patient and dedicated to helping students improve and it shows. In his willingness to work through difficult passages and provide personalized feedback as well as change my schedule becouse of my personal life circumstances. With his expertise, teaching style, and commitment to his student success, I would highly recommend him to anyone looking to improve their guitar skills. I have been taking Piano lessons with John since March 2020, and have enjoyed every minute. I was a bit apprehensive taking on a new challenge but I found John very welcoming and easy going. John is an excellent teacher and I look forward to learning as much as I can in the future from him.

I have started to learn the piano and began the search for a teacher. After many searches I settled on John Oswin and I can honestly say what a fantastic warm and welcoming guy he is. I have come on in bounds since using John tutoring . If you want a music teacher in Coventry then look no further.
