Building is a bit tired, decor very dated, and the heating takes a very long time to warm the rooms. But, it's reasonably cheap to hire rooms and the staff are very very helpful.

Wanted to book for a birthday party. Arrived to view the room during times stated. The venue team were busy rushing around setting up for 2 events. Agreed to room hire with them and as they were clearly busy agreed to come back Monday to pay for venue hire (as we told room bookings could be done between 12-3 week day as per email 9/4/23 ) Mick agreed to this . Arrived today Monday to pay the room hire to be told it has now been booked and upon speaking to Mick he says that he didn't agree to this- no room is able to be hired without the deposit- (valid point -although on Friday he was rushing around and unable to do room booking and agreed Monday was ok to pop back) If he has said we can book during weekend we would have popped by.
