Ok so I haven't used Helen and Stuart for Glenwood flooring but I'm in search of my own evidence for my solicitor to take them to court on another matter and came across all the bad reviews and people taking them to court and winning. I will echo alot of people's comments. These two are liars and take your money without any consideration. They take no responsibility for not delivering on a paid for service. I met them at their home address in 2017. I arranged to meet them again in 2022 believing it was someone else as the address was different. I gave them the benefit of the doubt for their services as I was already there. Paid them AGAIN only for them not to deliver their side of the agreement with no care of refunding me. After what I have read my instincts are spot on and I'll be filing a court case against them. I first visited their home in 2017 at 4 Glenwood rise, portishead. They moved to 56 Brampton way, Portishead BS20 6YR which is why I thought I was meeting someone different but their business address is registered to Coventry. 100% scammers. People taken them to court multiple occasions and they have defaulted on multiple CCJ payments after found guilt

AVOID! Another highly disappointed Glenwood Flooring customer here with an almost identical story of extremely poor carpet fitting, a useless attempt at fixing the problems, complete refusal to accept any responsibility, and continually being ignored by Helen. We also took Glenwood Flooring to small claims court and won our case. Helen was ordered to pay back the full cost of the job plus court expenses but claimed Glenwood Flooring had zero funds so had to pay in instalments. She managed 3 instalments before stopping the direct debit and unsurprisingly has ignored every attempt to contact her since. It is interesting to note Glenwood Flooring is now registered at an address in Coventry despite still operating out of Portishead, North Somerset. Thanks to Google's new photo feature in reviews, you can see these photos that were taken a day after the carpets were installed. 1+2 - completely miscut edge in a cupboard recess. Helen told me that as this area was out of sight, I shouldn't have a problem with it and as a resolution, Stuart could glue it back down.. 3 - carpet badly cut with fraying edges not meeting the bannister. 4 - the wrong type of threshold bar used to transition from carpet to Lino. 5 - after the first vacuum clean the carpet lifted up revealing another badly cut edge that is too short to fit the threshold bar. This review is written in the hope that you don't make the same mistake as we did. AVOID! Service: Install flooring
