Please read this before buying a Peugeot car. Well just like thousands of other dissatisfied customers, we have joined the ranks. We stupidly decided to order a Peugeot 308gt premium on the 25th June 2022. We have been buying Peugeot cars for over 22 years from showrooms. And what we wanted was the top of the range 308gt premium with visio park 3 (automatic parking) because husband has chronic back and neck pain from skydiving accident in his teens and a car that will park for you will be a painless experience. But what we got from Mulhouse Citroen and Peugeot via dealership of Ipswich was a 308gt without premium ( the word Premium was dropped so Peugeot could get rid of a 308 flagship and charge extra for the equipment that was in the Premium) without park assist, without charging plate, without 3d cluster. So now complained to dealer who told us we never said we wanted visio park 3? Liar! We complained to Peugeot who said we could reject the car. We have no other transport. Or Peugeot would give us a free first service cheap refund for equipment that would have cost 700 at least as far as they are concerned. 'Sod their customers. So if you really want a Peugeot car? Check, check and check again before committing yourself to a mis build, because once you get the Peugeot car they will not help you and you too will be left with a dude.

So where do I start.... We ordered a Peugeot traveller allure long wheelbase back in October 2021. we was assured by Peugeot that it would be built by August delivery date. Obviously Covid happened we understand that due to that and other political reasons they put the delivery date back to December. I called my local Peugeot dealer up at the end of November to then be told we still don't have a delivery date!!!! and he will speak to Peugeot directly and see what is going on. Well today I found out that they aren't honouring our build and tried fobbing us off with their crappie electric model that has an apparent rage of 140 miles however knowing people who own them they say fully loaded you get about 70 if you're lucky that's not good enough for us as my daughter is disabled and has regular hospital appointments, and we live on the isle of wight and the electric version will not do!! We ordered the diesel version for that reason. I feel we have been completely mugged off by Peugeot and now have to look elsewhere to buy a big enough vehicle and wait another possible 12 months I am utterly shocked and disappointed with this company and if I was you I definitely wouldn't buy and cars from them whatsoever!!!!! I will be taking this up with trading standards and see where I stand legally as this is completely unacceptable.

MY 2019 citreon broke down just in its warranty period, It took 3 weeks just to get booked in at citreon garage in Leicester . Its been almost 4 weeks at the dealership now waiting for parts to arrive now I've told they need more parts !! "Another 4 weeks"...had to fight tooth and nail almost 10/15 phone calls between PSA customer service's and the dealership 3 weeks in just to get a courtesy/replacement vechile...my vechile been broken almost down 7 weeks with no date when it will be back on the road... poor customer services... no one can even be bothered to keep me up-to-date it's always me having to contact the dealership or customer service's for a update....I will never buy a pegeout, citreon or Vauxhall again.

The warning system of my DS3 told me I had suddenly developed low oil pressure and to stop driving, I was local at the time so stopped at my local reputable car service centre. Diagnostics revealed poor circulation so oil drained, flushed and replaced. The same warning was obtained during post repair testing, further in depth analysis revealed the oil had become instantly contaminated so with my permission the tech guys began to look for the cause as I was hardly in a position to do anything else as the warning was "oil pressure fault repair engine" Exam revealed that the timing belt was breaking down and must be replaced even though Citroen say it should be good for 110, 000 My DS has only done 41k The belt was removed and examined and found to be defective and so replaced along with a host of associated parts gaskets and yes another 100.00 worth of new oil and filters. The jobs done now and the cars fine but I'm out of pocket by just under 1k. European Car Centre Bedford couldn't bend over backwards far enough with apologies, free courtesy car, constant updates which is more than can be said for Citroen UK I brought the matter to their attention and didn't get as much as an apology, was told to take the car to an authorised repair centre and when pointed out the car was not drivable was told I would get a call back after taking advice, never got that call. I've today called again and went over the same issue and was told my case #447629 has been escalated and I would receive some communication in about a week but taking the car to a non authorised repair centre was a problem which they may not be able to help with. I'm sure that UK law permits me to take my car to a repair centre of my choice provided repairs are carried out to a professional standard using the correct parts, which has been the case. I will now wait for their response together with my bag of defective parts and and a technical report from European Car Centre before I put my theory to the test. To be updated..... After a long battle I have now received 85% of my claim so the matter is closed. Citroen could have done this a long time ago and saved everyone a lot of trouble but they came good in the end.
