We wanted to record how pleased we were with the work done by J.K.Lynch on our bungalow conversion. The project was not straight-forward, being a conversion and extension of the building to make it suitable for a disabled person. This included the widening of all doors to allow for wheelchair access, the relocation of electrical socket and switches, and the installation of a fully wheelchair accessible wet room. Despite the difficulties, the work has progressed smoothly and the result is exactly what we wanted. We were particularly impressed with the project management. The unexpected issues that are bound to arise, were never allowed to become problems, the work was not delayed and liaison with other trades was first class. The invariable reply to a new requirement is no problem, and it never was. Mr Lynch was always available when we called and happy to meet us on site whenever that was necessary. All of the work was very professional and carried out by experienced local tradesmen. We are very happy to recommend J.K.Lynch L td.

Really disappointing service from a firm that is well established and therefore should know better. I have seen this company's vans running around Coventry man and boy. I therefore thought that I could not go wrong selecting this company. How wrong I was. I I was tasked to find a builder for my mother who is in her 80s and very anxious. The job was to strap the walls of a bay window that was unstable and then pebble dash the external wall and repair and plaster on the internal walls. I rang the company and the director Kevin Lynch came round the same day and looked at the job. He was very polite and I thought we were in good hands. I felt quote we got was a reasonable one and so it was accepted. This was in August 2017. It is now 2018. I live in London and therefore had to return, but asked my sister to be oversee this on behalf my mother and included her details on the acceptance form. Kevin initially promised to arranged a repair date for the end of September. This was moved to the middle of November after chasing by my sister. No apology and no courtesy call. They were supposed to come round on the 15th. No word! No further word since. I can take being messed around but it is not on to mess about a vulnerable old lady. A really poor show.

The bathroom ceiling and the walls needed redecorating due to the water leak from upstairs. We were told that the work would take around 2 days. We went on holiday for 5 days and left the keys for the work to be completed while we were away. When we came back the paint work was complete but the bathtub was full with the covers they laid on the floor, the half empty cans of paint, paper towels, an empty juice bottle and their hoover. There was dripped paint on the doors, on the sink, on the tiles and on the mirror. The carpets including the one outside in the communal area was covered with white dust. We had to clean for 4 hours upon returning from our holiday. Disappointed with the service, not recommended!
