I have asked the team at Jules to look after mechanical repairs and bodywork work from a range of vehicles, in recent times, from an 1967 MGBT to an Aston DB11 to a Fiat 500. The expertise in all areas is outstanding and, as importantly, the work is always competitively priced. Highly recommended.

I emailed Jules Bodycraft to see if they were able to carry out some work to my 205 gti, I included photographs and a list of areas that would require repair. I was told that they couldn't quote until they had seen the car, which was a practically a bare shell. So they arranged a transporter to collect the car to inspect it. I was then told that that they charged X amount per hour and I was reassured that it wouldn't take long and would be looked after. My car then sat outside for 2 weeks in the rain waiting for them to start. My concerns were raised when I saw only some of the items on the list were being carried out and I was told When I asked why "he didn't have a magic wand" a few weeks later the job was complete, a full respray including engine bay and the price was.. 500 in materials 100 for transportation and 5400 in labour. so 6000 in total PLUS VAT which I was never made aware of... Fast forward 6 months and the paint is peeling off in areas and has sunk where filler wasn't allowed to harden properly before being painted, lack of preparation and rushing to get it done. Best part of all is the shortcuts, the doors were removed so they could be painted inside and out only for them to mask around the tyre pressure sticker leaving a horrible visible paint line that meant I had to get the door painted again. It's not very often I get I get the feeling I have been ripped off but this is one of those times.
