Douglas Fry Wedding Photographer

For our wedding at Tower Bridge in London we wanted to find a photographer that already knew the venue so could plan, direct and shoot our photos with the right knowledge and experience to make things go as smoothly as possible. Douglas Fry was the perfect choice. Douglas is professional and organised, which made us feel at ease and calm, the planning phase was very simple and gave us confidence that the wedding photography was in his hands and not something for us to worry about. Douglas photographed our wedding at St Clement Danes church and the reception at the RAF Club. Douglas was incredibly professional throughout. We did not want a lot of staged pictures, Douglas discussed this with us prior and was able to find a really good balance between staged and candid photos. Douglas was able to provide us with our photos digitally within a matter of days, with the hard copies arriving shortly after. Would wholeheartedly recommend to anyone looking for a central London photographer

We shortlisted a number of photographers with excellent reviews, but instantly warmed to Douglas when we met, and his geniality, humour and professionalism were all very much evident on our big day too. He built great rapport with the venue staff and guests, and managed to capture all key moments over the course of a long day without ever being obtrusive. Critically, the photos he produced were also excellent; really capturing the feel of the day. Far more so than we could have hoped in fact. You can really see the Leica quality and effect in them too. And credit to his wife Sam as well, who did an excellent job co-ordinating everything and was unparalleled in her communications throughout. So yes, a big thank you to both Douglas and Sam for all they did for us - they were fantastic and we highly recommend them! Charlie & Lucia
