If you like waiting 1 hour 30 for food which arrives at different times to your friends, in portion sizes which leave much to desired. Then this is the place for you. PS if you order a vegan pizza youll get a cheesy pepperoni pizza. But the lobster ravioli is good.

Looking for a fancy afternoon tea? Look elsewhere and don't waste your time or your money here. I booked here to take our son for his first ever afternoon tea experience on his 5th birthday. It was one of the few places which weren't only offering Christmas afternoon teas in late November (anyone with birthdays in November or December will know the struggle!). I was in contact with Konstantina when booking this and was assured that this special occasion was noted in the booking and "we will make sure that Reuben will enjoy his Little Explorer birthday experience!" We turned up on time at midday only to stand by door and watch the staff cleaning, hoovering, polishing, etc. When someone finally greeted us, the booking name wasn't taken, and we were shown to a table. No offer to take coats. Once we sorted ourselves out, it felt like an age before someone paid us any attention and we had to ask for a menu. Our afternoon teas arrived about half an hour later, and they were so disappointing! Especially the Little Explorer afternoon tea. It looked nothing like the photo on the website. The hot chocolate was rubbish and bitter. There was a chocolate block on a stick which was he was meant to stir into warm milk (which wasn't provided). The crudits were missing. The bread didn't feel very fresh and seemed like the sandwiches were just taken out of the fridge. And the pots of tea were tiny and the water not hot enough. The tap water was luke warm - although we noticed the table next to us were served ice with their water in much nicer glasses! Every time the pots were refreshed, the water temperature seemed to get cooler! The jam isn't homemade, and I question whether the pastries were either. I asked the servers a few times if they knew what we were there for and if they saw the note on the booking - one of the servers said they couldn't find the iPad or something. It just seemed like they didn't want to be there and it far from feeling special. In spite of my son wearing badges saying, "I'm 5 today", not a single staff member said happy birthday to him!!!!! We took most of it away in a couple of boxes - boxes which we had to assemble and pack ourselves - as we didn't want to stay in that miserable place any longer than necessary. They removed the service charge from the bill as they could see I wasn't impressed. And I had to argue to get the Little Explorer afternoon tea removed also - which is astoundingly poor. The experience still cost me 92! We've had afternoon tea in many hotels in London, and this is by far the worst value one we've had. If you're looking for a special occasion and a good time, look elsewhere.

The atmosphere and the design is really cool, however unfortunately the food if far to be good. I tried many options as sometimes the restaurant was the only option. None of the main courses satisfied my expectations to be honest. Even the starters, a simple burrata was not so good. The service however was very good - I cant complain. I had a extremely good service provided by Fabio. The food was actually the problem, for all the 3 times Ive been there.

(Translated by Google) My partner and I were dining at this restaurant yesterday. The service was 10, Alejandro, our waiter, was aware of us at all times and made dinner very pleasant. We had dinner in another part of the hotel that was not the usual restaurant due to the Covid issue, but the room was still very good. But we were sorely disappointed with the food. It has nothing to do with the TripAdvisor menu or the fork. For dinner we had three starters and 5-6 dishes. None of them extremely appetizing. I had the salmon with mashed potatoes and my partner had the lasagne. The salmon could have been cooked by anyone, it was absolutely nothing special and the lasagne was ridiculous, bland and extremely thin. The presentation of the dish was conspicuous by its absence. For dessert we ordered a cheese cake that was correct but nothing else. It is true that the prices are good but we expected a quality that did not exist, the restaurant was empty so I don't think they were saturated with work. A pity, I hope they update the TripAdvisor and El Tenedor page so that what has happened to us does not happen to more people.
