Macar provided an all round excellent service as we purchased our first home. Our experience from first viewing to ongoing after sale service has been predominantly positive. Communication has always been maintained at every phase through a single point of contact, special thanks to their experience manager Gary MacDonald for staying on top of all queries and requests thrown his way from every direction. As one may expect with off-plan purchases, there may be unknown factors, fortunately Macar have been transparent with everything as it came to light. Their team took our concerns as well as custom requests into consideration and delivered on their promises.

As a first time buy, my partner and I had a great experience with Macar Developments. Out of all of the other options available, no other developments provided the quality of furnishings or end product that was produced by Macar. Gary was able to help us through the whole process and has been there to respond to any queries or questions that we had including a discrepancy with the Kitchen design that was rectified for us quickly. We recently purchased a duplex 3-bedroom Macar Developments designed and constructed flat in Coulsdon, opposite a golf course. Super well constructed and designed. Great attention to detail - they have used all the available space to provide additional, hidden-away storage. The bedrooms are of a good size, but it is the kitchen, bathrooms, etc where they stand out. High quality fixtures, fittings and appliances, all of which were tested before we took possession. The kitchen and bathrooms are super sleek and well designed. Gary MacDonald has been excellent with his pre-sale and after-sale customer service. Pro-active and responsive to any issues, and gets things done well and fast. Overall, a small, high-quality and boutique-like development, which has stayed true to the character of the road and area. Quite simply: Help to Buy at its best. Completely in love with our first home thanks to Macars attention to detail, luxury finishes and exceptional service. As with any new build bought off-plan, there have been elements that have surprised us, but most of these have been happy surprises, with any minor changes made during the build improving the appearance and functionality of the property. Macar (special shout out to Gary here) have maintained open and honest communication throughout a tricky period with covid related delays to the build pushing back our initial move date. Any questions or issues have been very quickly answered and rectified. We are beyond impressed by the whole experience, which has certainly set the bar high for future house purchases!
