I cant recommend S.I.N.G Purley enough! Thursday evening has been a highlight of my week for many years now. We sing a wide range of songs, and our members come from every background and age group imaginable. You dont have to be able to read music, and were such a welcoming bunch youll feel part of the group very quickly. We perform at different events throughout the year and love raising money for charity when we can. Plus theres always nice biscuits, surely enough of a draw in itself??

I sang with the choir for a couple of years and really enjoyed the sessions and friendships made. My heart was lifted after each rehearsal. The research into the benefits of singing in a choir are true! It is a non-auditioned choir and everyone is very welcoming. They sing a variety of songs and have invited to sing at various local events. If you're looking for a local choir, I would definitely recommend the group!

It's impossible to imagine life without this choir. I started in 2011 and immediately felt at home. I hadn't sung in a choir since school, and had never sung a cappella. It was a challenge that has been a delight every step of the way. My musicality has grown so much with this choir and I have friends for life. Highlights include having my own composition sung by the choir, and every wedding we've had the pleasure of performing at. I would say that if you're willing to practice and be patient with your own singing, give S.I.N.G. a go because one day, everything 'clicks' and you'll be making some incredible music.
