We bought a house through this agency last year. It all went fine until Toby Bassett, the director of the company, decided he would "take the lead on this one". Toby was consistently a misery to deal with. He was aggressive in his emails, had an arrogant and belligerent attitude, and was generally unpleasant. Toby may be good at strong arming and harrassing buyers into paying a bit extra for properties, as he attempted to do with us, but he burns bridges in the process. We will be certain to avoid this company at all costs when we come to sell.

Walter & Mair were fantastic and we are so glad we chose them for our house sale. They were friendly, positive, attentive, honest and such a great support through the whole process, even when our first sale fell through due to no fault of their own. Sara and Dominic were great to work with and proactive until completion. We had considered in the beginning going with a cheaper, non-traditional estate agent, but selected the traditional route through Walter & Mair and are so glad we did. They were worth every penny.
