We drove 30 mins for brunch and specifically rang up beforehand to ensure not a wasted trip and asked when the last order for brunch was today. I was told 3:45. On arrival at 14:30 I was told the kitchen is shut by the same member of staff who went bright red when she realised she had made an error on the phone and misinformed us. She made a lame excuse about the phone line being poor when we heard her perfectly fine. As the error was on her part and the chef was still in the kitchen, I did request If they can make an exception and make us something warm to eat but was simply told no. Appalling customer service with a feeble apology. The food is good but let down by the service as its often cold and simple requests such as extra hot drinks are ignored. Will not be returning.
