Just had a lovely breakfast .While we waited for our car be fix at Renault..Would highly recommend this cafe..Friendly lady who served us.. And will be back..

Ive been going here for years, with my kids, friends, on my own & for business meetings as groups. Always great service & delicious food & drinks. Only place I know of in Coulsdon to do a great Chai Latte and also jacket potatoes

This is not a child friendly cafe. Quite the opposite actually. Myself and a couple of mum friends went there for a coffee play date with our little ones and we felt like intruders. It was an early afternoon on a weekday which you would think its a prime time for mums and seeing cute little high chairs inside, we thought it was baby friendly. What a mistake that was. Every time one of our babies would cry a little or laugh too loud - we would get an angry look from an owner. When our babies finished their lunch, she came and put them away in a very aggressive way. A couple of days after weve left - the owner have posted a photo on a window saying that mothers should keep their babies next to their tables at all times. I think its horrible, making new mums under pressure. I wouldnt come back and advise anyone with a baby to stay away from this place. P. S. Our babies are under 12 months - they dont know how to walk and dont wear any shoes - just socks. So please stop lying. Also, we made sure to put high chairs away where we took them from - another lie from you. We werent obstructing an entrance, actually weve moved to the side to make sure other customers can move freely. Yes, I did take an empty paper cup and offered to pay for it but you told me not to worry. Overall I think you really dont like babies which is fine (not everyone has to) but maybe best to stop pretending its a child friendly cafe as its not.
