Great meal at this pub/restaurant, food was delicious and service impeccable. Definitely recommend and will be going back.

I went with 2 friends for Sunday lunch and it was a really bad experience. We were just 3 and we had to wait a lot for our food to come. The waiter brought one plate and the other 2 came after 20mins which meant we couldnt eat at the same time. Food was terrible! Fish and chips was over fried with a thick layer of batter and fish was untasty. The burgers were terrible too, one of them served with an unmelted slice of cheese and the beef tasted awful. When you pay almost 19 for a burger you expect good quality food! Now I understand why people around us were just having drinks and not many having food. Customer service was not great either. There are much better options around for a more reasonable price.

Lovely food but drinks so overpriced! Child's Cawston Press carton..2.95! A pack of 3 in the shops is 2. Shocking! Rethink your prices. Even two large pepsi was 7! May have water if we visit again. No roast chicken on menu and the menu today was different to the one we had gone by online in advance. Beef was a bit fatty on the beef duo. Car park ok and pot holes clearly highlighted. Good service but still cannot get over the drink costs unfortunately.

The pub looked lovely - food was average but when they brought the bill the food was 6 more than it was in the menu, and the wine was 10 more. I asked the waitress to replicate the menu price - when she brought it back she had only adjusted the wine and was putting the price into the card machine super quick so we would pay and not notice. Quite rude to be honest. Wouldnt come back.
