I feel incredibly lucky to have stumbled across this eco campsite. Words can't express how perfect it is and exactly what I needed. Firstly I LOVE the ethos behind it - the compost loos and showers are fantastic, I'm so impressed by their off-grid capacity, their commitment beyond just recycling (and very much appreciate the food compost bin). Every action the farm does (and I love the signs which explains everything) make it super special. Secondly, as a fairly low-key, DIY camper, I appreciated so many things about the site including: the small and well spaced out campsite (a few tipis/yurts, and tent pitches), camping amongst the fruiting apple trees, the hens running around, the small wind turbine (it sounds like the sea to me), the firepits with cooking grates, opportunities to purchase amazing local apple juice, cider and perry, and most of all I really appreciated the hut which had everything I needed (and so much more). It was so great to have access to the shelter - it had loads of cooking equipment, cutlery, dishes, cups, toaster, fridges, freezer, kettle, 2 sinks, wood burning stove and a big table and chairs to sit in if the weather didn't cooperate with us. It was the perfect getaway I was looking for and Amy was a fantastic host - very communicative. My only disappointment is that I can't return before the end of the season. I can't wait to come back next year!

Another fantastic stay at Fen End Farm! We've been camping there with a group of families for many years now and the campsite never ceases to amaze us with its facilities & general loveliness! Always a warm welcome & we can confirm that the orchard is just as appealing to teenagers as a hang-out as it was for playing in as small children! Well equipped - the kitchen is a real bonus, the eco-bathrooms & composting toilets are great & well-maintained. We tried the apple juice & burgers & sausages and and they were all delicious. Highly recommended this delightful campsite.

Gorgeous little site with individual pitches between rows of apple trees, so each pitch is in it's own little snug. Facilities are fantastic, the Apple Tree hut has 3 fridges, two washing sinks & all the kitchen kit you could need. Shower rooms are spacious with lovely hot water. Lavatories are good, just remember to use sawdust! Perfect spot for a weekend or longer, weve just had 6 nights & loved them all.
