Structural Learning

We were pleased to welcome Paul to school who led us in some excellent training. The day was filled with practical tips that could be used in the classroom the next day as well as inspiration for future ideas.

Paul delivered a highly engaging session on how children learn and pedagogy to our trainee teachers last week. It was pitched perfectly and packed with useful content. There were lots of opportunities for discussion. Most impressive were the ways in which Paul supported trainees to engage practically with complex ideas.

Paul is a professional and experienced educational expert and is extremely approachable. He has been leading a series of engaging workshops with colleagues at our school and really has generated a spark and thirst for more. His structured thinking frameworks and additional resources are a must for any school!

Thanks Paul for all your help with our inset day last month (September 2022). Your session on how structural learning blocks aid metacognition skills and deepen subject knowledge has led to fruitful discussions across the curriculum subjects. The feedback from our staff has been excellent with staff commenting on the quality of the training you delivered and also on how the activities you modelled, will help make lessons more inclusive for all.
