The Cotswold Tours & Travel team were so wonderful on planning and delivering a 4 day tour of the Cotswolds and local area, we saw so much from private farms, local wildlife, famous villages and off the beaten track sites. The food at the local pubs were incredible, and our guides found quaint pubs for us to see, we also went to Bath, Stratford upon Avon, Oxford and Blenheim. The team can tour pretty much everything, what a great vacation it was!!!

Our family group of 9 (including two children ages 5 & 7) visited the Cotswolds in early April of this year (2023). Two vehicles were required to accommodate our group. The vehicles were comfortable, clean, and obviously well-maintained. We spent 2 1/2 days with our guides. On day 1 we were picked up at our hotel by Robin Scotter and Steve Hunt and were driven through the Cotswolds to the village of Dryham where we had made arrangements to stay 2 nights in a fascinating, exceptionally beautiful, historic old home there. Adequate comfort and meal stops were made along the way. At these stops some of us would usually change vehicles so that we spent time with both guides. Both were friendly, courteous, and accommodating. They never showed impatience with answering questions which I feel sure they are asked on a regular basis by visitors. They were knowledgeable not only about the area (the Cotswolds) but also the history of the nation as well as current events. Steve was not available on day 2, but we were picked up promptly at the arranged time by Robin and John Fraser who was also accommodating, knowledgeable, and friendly. That day (day 2) was spent further exploring the area. It was a memorable day! On day 3 we departed the Cotswolds, wishing we could stay longer. Steve had returned as one of our guides, so he and Robin drove our group back to a London hotel where we had reservations. Since Robin was with us all 3 days, we spent more time with him than with either of the others and got to know him a little better. Yet all 3 of our guides contributed to our enjoyment. Our fantastic guides played a major role in making our visit so delightful and memorable. The only way our visit to the Cotswolds could have been better would be if we could have stayed longer!!

Robin was a great driver and tour guide. We were visiting from the US and really enjoyed having him show us around the Cotswolds for 3 days. I would highly recommend him to anyone who visits that area. He was very knowledgeable of the Cotswolds and was able to show us many interesting sites and recommend great pubs / restaurants.

Steve was an amazing guide. He was engaging, knowledgeable and enthusiastic. Wonderful day full of history, insight delightful pub lunch and fun activity!
