Great cottage. Been a few times now with family. That said it's kitchen is showing its age now and needs some TLC. Great walks around the cottage. River walk from cottage to Barnard Castle or a 2.5 mile walk to nxt village along the Old railway track behind The Red Lion.

Pictures of property are out dated but still a great place to stay. Owner was on hand and fast to respond with anything we needed.

What a wonderful stay we had. Perfect in every way. Pub next door. Nice walks. Dog friendly cottage.
