Royal Air Force Museum Cosford Car Park

One of the top 3 air museums in England (and there a lot of good ones). An outstanding array of military aircraft displayed in a very impressive setting. There are a huge number of aircraft displayed outside and even more in the purpose built hangars. The highlights for me would be the TSR2 and the fantastic vertical lightning and of course the Kestrel (personal reasons). Cant believe that entry is free.

Superb aviation museum full of truly unique aircraft. The cold war hanger is the only place to see all three V bombers plus planes from the Berlin airlift and a host of other exhibits from the era of the Berlin wall. It has a fascinating range of experimental and research planes from the early days of flight to the jet age. Friendly and knowledgeable staff plenty of parking and a good restaurant.
