Absolutely ridiculous wouldn't let me buy beer, being asked for ID at aged 41 years old when it's challenge 25 thats an absolute insult as a customer you need to train your staff better, I appreciate it's on them and they could loose their jobs, but the difference between a 25 & 41 year old is fairly obvious, I won't be using that store again and I am making an official complaint to head office, absolutely disgusting. I can assure you I do not look 25 or younger.

One of the worst ASDA stores Ive visited, which is a shame as its conveniently on the way home. My last 3 visits Ive had a negative experience. Today was by far the worst. The music being played in the store was louder than some nightclubs Ive been in have it. To the point that I had to end my phone call conversation as I couldnt hear the other line. I complained to the manager on shift who didnt particularly seem very enthusiastic about apologising despite me saying the volume was offensive. The only response I got was I can turn it down I mean really. It shouldnt have been that loud in the first place. Dread to think what someone who has sensory challenges or Autism would think if they walked into that type of environment. The other thing that ruined the visit is being told I needed to provide a physical copy of something else with my name on when using my Blue Light Discount Card a copy of my driving licence on my phone isnt sufficient despite it being clearly me on the licence, having to go and fetch it from the car and come back to the store just irritated me further. - its 2023 ApplePay and Virtual Cards like the ASDA Rewards Card which is only available electronically? surely ID should be accepted electronically these days? especially as its only to prove Im the cardholder for the 10% 40p discount I was getting?
