Fascinating Historic house and surroundings. Such a personal experience, having our private tour hosted by the Acton family themselves. Brilliant nostalgic music machines. I would recommend visiting this special unique property, you will receive a warm and friendly welcome.

Seriously good vibe in this stunning location. The house and grounds ooze history, unspoilt and retaining the rustic feel of the Jacobean manor farm it once was. Francis and Alison couldnt be more hospitable and the accommodation and food are right up there. Spend a couple of days here and you will be back. Good for the soul.

Stayed for a night with my husband and it was nothing short of perfect. The Actons' were very inviting and kind, made you feel like you were staying with family. We stayed in the Green Room which was beautiful with a large cozy bed and an incredible bathroom. Alison took us on a tour of the grounds which were beyond expectations, the large English breakfast was absolutely the icing on the cake. We would highly recommend the Acton Estate experience! Definitely will be making a return trip ourselves. Big thank you to the Actons'!

Took part in the Halloween Scavenger Hunt with our youngest and had a wonderful time. Really lovely people, perfect setting (the house and grounds are awesome) The scavenger hunt finished with fun crafts and games for the little ones and there was home made cake too! We'll definitely be back! Thankyou oodles!

Spent a fascinating afternoon at this hidden gem . Would highly recommend all visitors experience the warm family welcome / hospitality and informative tour . You will not be disappointed.
