Love this as an example of how our country is always changing. If you don't actively search for the Chapel you will definitely not find it!!

Heath Chapel is a small structure, built in the 12th century. The small round-headed windows and door are built to look Norman but the only actual Norman element is the large tub font. The south door features two orders of shafts with decaying capitals and chevrons but the tympanum is plain. Extensive renovations took place in the 17th century. The roof was replaced and internally plastered over. Most of the timber furnishings, including the communion rail, pews and pulpit, are 17th century. Inside the chapel was whitewashed at this time too, covering the extensive medieval wall paintings but some portions were uncovered in 1912 when the whitewash and ceiling plaster was removed. There is essentially no parking nearby.
