We have been going to Corsham Opticians for several years, and after a family appointment today I just wanted to write a review to say how impressive they are. They are friendly, yet professional - and nothing is too much trouble. The eye examinations are very thorough and everything is well explained. They are great with children and were exceedingly helpful and patient with helping me to choose my first pair of glasses without any pressure or sales pitches. The prices are very reasonable for the service they provide and I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Very happy customer! I live in Cambridge, but having found this optician through local family connections, I now organise my UK holidays to include an optician's appointment with this practise. I have a complex prescription, and the professional care that I receive is extremely reassuring. I also love their ranges of eyewear, which the owner told me includes sources from Europe, so you can have glasses that are not on every face in the UK. A quaint building; approachable staff; reasonable prices - can't speak highly enough of Corsham Opticians.

I made an appointment because I was concerned at my increasingly blurred vision since witnessing the sudden, traumatic death of my wife a couple of months previously. Claustrophobic panic attacks meant that I was exempt from wearing a mask. I sat and waited for about 10 minutes before the male optician came into the waiting room and asked if I had a mask. I informed him politely that I was exempt. He immediately said that in that case he could not treat me and turned his back on me and walked away, clearly not wishing to talk about it. I pointed out to him politely that he was in breach of anti-discrimination laws, but he made no answer and disappeared into his consulting room. It's hard to believe that anybody with such an appalling attitude should claim to be involved in public health in any capacity. When I got home I emailed the other optician in the same street and received a very helpful and detailed response and were very happy to see me, although they could not see me immediately themselves. Presumably they were inundated by customers leaving this establishment for a more professional optician. Please don't bother with any empty apologies, placing the blame on the client, as you did the other lady.
