Pros: - The caravan experience is a lot of fun - Well designed, modern and well equipped caravan (not luxury though) - Could easily fit with 3 adults and a child - Sofa is ok to sleep on, but would be challenging if you are 1.8 m and taller - Good stock of food and drinks for a day or two - Gated private territory, safe to stay - Possible to do barbecue - Free parking - Accessible to local places of interest, Lacock Abbey is a must. Castle Combe is not far - 20 min. Bath is 40 min drive. - Good gas and water supply - Freesat TV works great Cons: - Ok for a night or two, do not expect a good comfort for a longer stay - If its rains, expect a lot of noise. if its cold, expect would be chilly - Toilet was blocked, septic tank capacity is low, gets overfilled easily. Needs to be drained more frequently. Were left with a non working toilet on our check out day. And we were not taking shower at all to say we overused the water. - The inside toilet door handle was broken. If you are alone, could be accidentally locked in a toilet! - The electricity tripped during the night, the refrigerator was making an alarm signal because of that. Did not realize that and had a very bad sleep. - No Wi-Fi.

Avoid 12c Pound Hill Corsham! Arranged for myself, my son and brother through Booking.com. 30 May - 1 June 2022. Because it was advertised for 4 people, I initially booked for only one person. I emailed to say it was for three of us. No reply, so I telephoned the owner. No problem, she said. When we arrived, the owner Amanda was very unwelcoming, and even hostile. She made a great fuss because there were thee of us, and shed only made up one bed. We considered leaving, but because it was 6.30 pm and wed travelled all day, we placated her and agreed to pay her extra for making the other beds up. Our caravan was the one lower down the slope, with the decking outside. When we went into the caravan, the dank, musty smell immediately told us it was going to be bad. It was a very old caravan; Id estimate about 25-30 years old. Our observations were: - Dank and musty - Heater didnt work - Grotty carpet - Cracked cooker hob cover - Broken door below oven - Bathroom sliding door came off rails every time it was used - Master bedroom door split It was a cold, rainy night. Because of the lack of heating, it was uncomfortably cold, and we all had trouble sleeping. By brother gave up at 6am, and left to go home. When I got up at 8am, my son told me that hed had water dripping on him all night. His bedding was wet, and hed had a miserable night. I found the leak; its from the ceiling at the front left corner as viewed standing looking into the caravan door, and drips onto one of the single beds. We packed up and left at 9am. I messaged the owner to tell her wed had an uncomfortable night, and had departed a day early. I later emailed her explaining why and asked for a refund. I received no reply. I complained through Booking.com, with no success. I can only speak about the condition of the caravan we stayed in, and it was certainly not luxury as stated in the description; its a grotty, miserable dank shack and unfit for purpose. In my opinion, the owner, Amanda, is a very poor host who does not take responsibility for the condition of her property or the satisfaction of her guests.

The whole experience was very disappoining. Maybe I am spoilt, but that was not a luxury caravan! We booked it for 3 people for 3 nights breakfast provided. There was some food that classifies for breakfast, but for that price I expected more. We got 6 eggs, 6 rushers of bacon and a pack of sausages. Ther was a loaf of bread, some butter, cereals and so on. But there was not a morcel of coffee or a single tea bag. Halve a roll of toilet tissue, no bin bags. The heater did not work nor did the flusher on the toilet. When we mentioned this to the person her reply was a oh - and a shrugging of her shoulders. Positive was the outside seating area. Nice place to sulk and watch birds, squirrels and rabbits. Not recommended
