This area is great if you are a dog owner. Easy to walk to if you are near the park lane are. If you drive there you can find plenty of places to pack. There is a signed path for dog walking with plenty of bins. You can also go down the old byway off Hudswell Lane, follow the gravel track through the woods, at the end of the pony field take a left the iron gates onto a tarmac drive. This drive is a nice easy walk between the fenced off railway line to your right and Pockeridge lakes on your left. Go up and back on the drive ( great if you have a push hair with you) or go left on one of the tracks after the Lakes and circle back to the dog walk area
