My experience at Vashi was everything I needed it to be, and a lot more than I expected. Firstly and most importantly, I ended up worth a ring that I, and more importantly my now Fianc, loved. The ability to build something of your own, and the chance to select diamonds that match your priorities and budget is very useful. I personally felt like the process made the ring feel more unique and my fianc really appreciated the effort. I knew zilch about diamonds or engagement rings before going in the doors but after 4 trips to the store I feel like a relative expert! They take their time to explain all the 4 cs of a diamond and help you to understand the criteria that are most important to you. Whilst the team at Vashi in the royal exchange are obviously there to sell you a ring you do not feel pressured and sold to at any point. I actually asked for some other recommendations for ring retailers so I could scope out the market and they happily obliged. Kristina was a joy to deal with and Im convinced she would help anyone in the same way. Her colleague Anna who I initially spoke to and was often in store was also super helpful and patient as I asked my novice level diamond questions. Advice to the uninitiated would be to use Vashi as you will feel no pressure, learn a lot and build something with them that feels like its yours, not just a ring picked from a window front. Be aware there are not loads of rings to see instore, so I would advise looking at their website and maybe some other retailers before visiting.
