        Great traditional pub, amazing food and service. Good selection of well kept ales. Would definitely recommend, we'll be back next time we're in the area.

        Very friendly welcome from the lady behind the bar, who was working bar waiting at tables, servicing the food, Food was disappointing microwave hot hot! not tasty, Skinny Chips !! no choice !Bill interesting format to pint of larger shady 2:60 lemonade 2:60 , no won't return for food.

        Food was quite average, fish and chips came with French fries and two goujon shaped bits of fish (I expect a fish shaped piece!) Fish pie was just 'ok' obviously used frozen fish not fresh and hardly any of it, veg by the side was incredibly overcooked. Cheesecake was pretty bad, wasn't a proper cheesecake, wouldn't have been difficult to make rather than buy in or to buy a better quality one. Expensive for such basic food, had it been cheap I wouldn't have minded the quality as much. Staff really friendly and welcoming.
