I really wanted to write a good review for this company, but find it impossible. I ordered a blazer from Strathcarrons on the 20th June 2017 through their website, payment made and order accepted for a made to measure blazer. The website does say that delivery can take up to 6 weeks "We hold a small amount of blazers in stock, but usually we have to make to order - therefore, delivery is usually five to six weeks from the date of order." So, I wasn't unduly alarmed when 6 weeks had passed and I had heard nothing, but after 46 days and still not hearing anything I emailed the company, 3 days later, I got a reply saying my blazer had been shipped. Great. It arrived the next day in a rather large box, (day 50), but to my horror, was the wrong colour. Taking into account the note accompanying the order stated the correct colour, I was a little confused. I sent another email to the company, explaining that they had sent me the wrong item also informing them I needed the blazer for a parade and asking that they arrange collection of the wrong blazer as well as deliver the correct blazer, I had a reply the same day apologising that the Navy blazer still wasn't with them, which left me wondering if they had sent me the wrong blazer on purpose, but as this blazer was a perfect fit, I'm not sure that would be the case. 20 days after this (70 days since ordering blazer) I again sent an email asking about any progress, and informing them of my displeasure with the company. The next day, again I got a reply offering an apology promising that they had "put an urgent order through". But still nothing. We have reached day 90 now, and I am still without a jacket, I had to go on a parade improperly dresses, much to my embarrassment and am really regretting using this company. I picked Strathcarrons as they looked like they produced quality blazers, and I wanted something that would last me a long time, I didn't expect I would probably be too old to wear it by the time they deliver it. I have included a picture from our church parade, I am easy to recognise, I'm the only one without a blazer! I have uprated my rating on reflection, although customer relations are not great, the actual jacket is very well made, which should be recognised within the rating.
