    Deeply disappointed by the service we subsequently received after Roger himself cancelled our return trip back from our honeymoon last minute whilst we were waiting for our connecting flight and with no explanation. His company was responsible for ensuring the last part of our honeymoon was special and we were really looking forward to seeing our new shared surname on a welcome board as we entered arrivals before having a stress-free return journey home as husband and wife. Instead, we spent 4 hours on trains and in taxis in and out of London with all of our luggage to get home. I was almost in tears and the way Roger went about it was disgraceful and nothing short of terrible customer service. This is clearly just a business to him despite the nature of his work involving some of the most important experiences of peoples lives. We booked our wedding car and return airport transfers for our honeymoon with Executive cars. The wedding car was beautiful and John the driver was very pleasant and professional. The car was immaculate however we were disappointed that there were no champagne flutes inside so could not make use of the special champagne my father had bought me for our journey. The ribbon on the car was not personalised as promised, despite confirming what we wanted printing on it when asked. The journey to Heathrow was in a white Mercedes E Class which again, was immaculate and a very smooth journey. Whilst on our honeymoon, we advised Roger that our flight had been changed and we would be returning 3 hours later than originally expected. Roger reassured us the driver would be informed but may be there an hour and a half later than we were getting in due to another transfer which of course, we understood completely. Upon checking in at the first airport, we were advised we would get into the UK at the original time. I informed Roger if this with almost 12 hours notice. Roger replied: Unfortunately we are now fully booked with other transfers. I will refund you the return transfer when I am back. I was in disbelief. I only received this message because I had logged into the Wi-Fi at our connecting airport and messaged him. What would have been the case if wed have entrusted his driver would be at Heathrow to pick us up at the time agreed? I have still had no explanation as to why our transfer was cancelled altogether despite asking Roger this. We were booked in to be picked up at 11:00/11:30 and were more than prepared to have to wait until that time but instead, Roger cancelled our transfer altogether and nonchalantly said hed refund us when he was back from his holiday. I frantically tried to get a response from Roger whilst I was still on the Wi-Fi before our connecting flight boarded but got nothing despite me messaging and calling twice immediately after hes replied to me. I then had to spend out for last minute train tickets and taxis to get home from Heathrow. I requested the refund that day to assist with the money we had to spend on trains but it was not until 4 days later that I received an email with nothing other than a request for my bank details to make the transfer as though he was doing me a favour. I was and still am deeply saddened and amazed by the service we received. I can appreciate this may have been isolated and from other reviews, does not appear consistent with the companys practices. However, I do believe we are owed an explanation and one that could have been obtained far less publicly.
