Angel Fish & Chip Shop

I'll be quite honest, I have a holiday in corbridge every year and the fish and chips beat anywhere in the uk. I travel for Business and to be fair after today 19th Oct 2022. I think they have gotten even better. Cant recommend more highly Dont miss out. Chris from West Yorkshire.

Should be called Angel Fish sausage and chip shop. Pretty much the whole menu would be in the name. Anyway, after travelling back from the middle east from 11pm last night we googled where was close to eat on the final part of our journey and found this place. Asked if he had a cheese pattie and he said no the menu is there and that it's not a council estate chippy followed with 'it's not like that here everything is cooked fresh'...... well that's a big lie, I know a refried chip when I eat one, I remember them from the council estate I'm from . Anyway, food was expensive but edible. Gravy is that watery it falls off the chip. Council estate chippy would have been better. But, if you fancy a trip to Corbridges very own version of the league of gentlemens local shop for local people then this is the place to go

Excellent service. Arrived just as they were closing and he could have easily turned us away. But cooked us cod and chips and they were very good, excellent chips and crispy cod!

Quite surprised at the low reviews. We go regularly on a Friday. Always excellent. Massive portions and very tasty.
