The staff are many. Their system supports prescriptions from nearby Acreswood surgery. They have lots of general meds on their shelves. I am disabled and need a fair few medications. They have been helpful on a several occasions to help me with these required meds. There is parking by the co-op nearby. The staff are approachable and like to help you.

Can the staff be any slower?? I appreciate the pharmacists need to take time checking prescriptions but the general staff are dire. If I worked at their speed Id be out of work

Cohen's on Filling and street, is the best chemist in Chorley, I changed to them after being with boots for a long time, but boots really started going downhill, not having items, items not being ready even when they said ready to collect. Cohen's has been great since changing to them, they deliver all my prescriptions, and have always been great when sorting them out.

This practice was all right when it was managed by Lloyds, but, since Cohens took over, it has been terribly slow, disorganised and inefficient. If you are registered with them, you must take the following precautions: 1) get your GP to send your repeat prescription to Cohens TWO weeks before you actually need your medication; 2) phone Cohens to remind them that they must process your prescription (otherwise they will simply forget about it); 3) when you go to Cohens to collect your medication: be ready to wait in the queue for at least 15 minutes; 4) when you finally manage to get your medication: don't leave the premises before checking that the number of tablets in each box corresponds to the number of tablets indicated on the label.
