Hi, I don't know if I can put into words how truly grateful, I am to the Puddleducks New Southgate team, I am so happy I found this nursery. My son was diagnosed with autism at age of 3 (he was nonverbal). He didnt like his previous nursery and he would cry every time we took him there. We felt the team there were not helping him in any whats so ever and it was only getting worse over time. I moved him to Puddleducks and the staff did an amazing job helping him to settle in and after a few days, he was happy to go there. The support that I received was wonderful and my son was very happy going to the nursery. I could see from his body language that he was excited and happy every day. His development was in a steady pattern every week and he started saying or doing something new that he learnt at the nursery. It was a true joy to hear and see all the new things that he was doing. The amount of love and devotion that the team gave my little one was out of this world. They were amazing in communicating with me regularly and in working with me to build my sons development plan. The staff and the administration are very friendly and supportive, and it was the best experience that my son had in a nursery. Thank you Puddleducks.

Too bad nursery! My son changes his behavior, I found out that he was only two and a half years old, they were putting him on the wall as punishment, I've seen a staff yell Stop, don't cry to a toddler. My son already got bitten ther, old toys, my son fell from the house on the tree because there was no staff close by watching the children, he fell and vomit! And a lot of bad things Please, watch your child's behavior and don't hesitate to change him from nursery like I did and report this nursery!

Our daughter has been at Puddleducks Nursery since she was 9 months old. She will be 4 years old soon, so has attended the nursery at all stages currently shes in the pre-school room. I cant express enough how amazing having Puddleducks as her nursery has been since the start they have been great. The nursery itself is tucked away just off Friern Barnet. It is a very welcoming environment they have purposely set it up to look like a home to make it comfortable for the children whilst they are there. It also has a purpose-built garden where the children spend their time when the weather permits. Since our daughter has been at Puddleducks we have met a wide range of wonderful staff members who have made lasting impressions we know how important it is to the manager to make sure that those with the right temperament join the team - most importantly we feel they have all taught our daughter something and opened her eyes to how nice it is to meet new and different people. When she was younger our daughter had terrible eczema over her body and the nursery staff were very accommodating in keeping an eye on her and applying any creams needed to make sure she was comfortable. When she was potty training, they also supported her and offered us advice. Weve always felt that the staff are keen to work with parents on whatever is best for the children. The nursery uses Tapestry online learning journal - to keep us up to date with what our daughter has been up to. Prior to the pandemic when it was easier to enter the building at pick up time, it was wonderful been able to see our daughter amongst her friends and be able to catch up directly and casually with the staff. Currently in the pre-school room the room lead is completely dedicated to making sure that the children are ready for the start of primary school they focus on basic letter and number recognition as well as exploring what it will mean to be in a new school. There is a holistic approach to learning which I think will benefit our daughter in the long run. Our daughter is very excited about starting school! Recently there has been a move towards the nursery sending out update emails/Tapestry notifications, for things like weekly menus and announcements I think this is a great move and hope this continues. I have to mention how the nursery reacted to and dealt with the pandemic - we were kept up to date and there were clear lines of communication which were very important during a very worrying and uncertain time. The safety of the children has always been a priority. Our daughter is growing into a wonderful person, and we know that the care she has received at Puddleducks has something to do with that. Thank you to all at Puddleducks Nursery.

As a parent of a child with Special Needs, I WISH a nursery like this existed for my daughters inclusion and development when she was a toddler! The staff are well trained in handling children with Additional Needs, especially those on the Autistic Spectrum. This is a wonderful establishment that engages every child on their own level and creates specific learning pathways for their individual grown and development. And now as a member of staff, I walk through the doors everyday with such a sense of pride knowing I am given the tools and support to make a real difference in these childrens lives!
