Helen Bashford Yoga

Helens Flow Class in her home studio is excellent. Theres something for everyone and she is a highly skilled and trained teacher. I love learning all the new anatomy and neuroscience that she shares with us. I couldnt recommend her more.

Helen is a Unicorn. First up, the superficial stuff; her outfits are always on-point, even the elf outfit she attempted to wear in 40 degrees. Plus, her playlist is a magical woo woo combo of delta waves, covers of old skool tracks and kind of Middle Eastern try-not-to-wiggle-I-dare-you up-tempo tracks. She also has a Sourceress's gift of reading the room and making sure she pitches each class to both inspire our grey matter and wrap a cashmere scarf of poses around our nervous system. So often I've been minding my own business IRL and some golden nugget of knowledge or tip or trick she has shared has allowed me to check in with my breath and enjoy some calm. I have a lot of nervous energy, sleep terribly and over-think most things so Helen's class is my 75 mins of 'AND EXHALE'.

Helens classes have quickly become an anchor point in my week. She teaches beautifully put together flows with incredible soundtracks, accompanied by useful, informative guidance that explains the benefits of the breath and movement. I leave feeling calm, fresh, and balanced. She is a wonderful yoga teacher.
