Beckenham Place Park Car Park

Rubbish parking system based on emissions of vehicle but puts vehicle in the wrong category. App defaults to "unknown category" of band 4 even though our vehicle is a hybrid and should be in 1, and wanted to charge us 10.80 for 2 hours!! Based on other reviews it seems Lewisham Council is not interested in fixing it or making it a fair system, it's clearly a greedy cash grab. Disgusting. Nearly ruined the trip.

Great park, was surprised to find so many parking spaces on a sunny bank holiday but after 20 minutes unsuccessfully trying to pay to park i realised why. App didn't work, unhelpful attendent dishing out fines. Would just park in a road next time.

Yet another parking site, now app only. Couldn't use it, so left... Scared of the inevitable ticket. Particularly so with unmarked, small white van lurking oddly (waiting to pounce?) In the corner of the fairly empty car park. What a waste....
