Avoid. Poor customer service. Poor after service. Step right on by. My gas fire stopped working in Nov 2022 when it was very cold and again in January. It took 9 days to fix the gas fire in the first instance as the gas engineer was ill. In Jan 2023 I am still waiting for a response from him or his team. I bought the gas fire to save money, now I am having to put my central heating on earlier than I had planned after making such a large investment to keep my home warm.

Nigel, the boss was most helpful in supplying information and demonstrating the various different fires which led to my final choice; and when it arrived Gavin fitted it with calm, good humoured efficiency - I think he loves his job and it showed - and left us with an absolutely beautiful fireplace. And all this during a pandemic. I could not recommend them highly enough.

I called Nigel on Saturday with regard to an issue with a Bell Fire we have installed. Nothing was too much trouble, his knowledge was top rate, and helped us get the fire back up and running very quickly. Friendly - Helpful - Totally Recommended!

Avoid this place at all costs. I paid around 340 up front for a custom made fire tray which I sent Nigel Obbard the exact measurements I wanted (in a detailed diagram sent by email). What turned up? Nothing that resembled my measurements. The control on/off mechanism is absolutely rubbish and my old fire tray which lasted 20 years was far superior. To say he was totally unhelpful would be an understatement - once he's got your money he's not interested in providing what you have asked for. I could sue him but I can't be bothered with the hassle (although I've kept all the paperwork as proof and just might change my mind on that). Definitely cowboys and I wouldnt trust a couple of reviews on here which look decidedly fake.
