Absoolute joke of a company. One of their "engineers" turned up to fit a Hive. Turned the boiler ON then started messing about with LIVE electric. Had a massive flashover which made him jump and pull a wire out of my connection block. avoid at all costs

AVOID THIS COMPANY From start to finish and at every step in between, I had problems. Apart from when they were taking my money. The payment was swift and the man who did the assessment for my EPC was professional. These are the only positives in my experience. I was told that after paying for the EPC and EICR that someone would be in touch the following day to make appointments. They weren't, so I had to chase them twice. The assessments took place on 2 different days when I was told on the phone they could be done the same day to avoid additional disruption to my job. I changed things around at work to ensure I could be at home for both days. Both assessors arrived late to start the assessments, leaving me to chase them up again as I wasn't informed of either delay but had spent hours waiting for each of them. During the EIRC assessment, the electrician made it clear that my property would receive a C2 rating, meaning that it would fail and require remedial work. He estimated that it would cost around 600. He explained that he would look online to see if he could find the part at a lower price. Later, he told me that the only ones he could find were second hand, so could not be used. The following day I received a certificate that showed failure of the EIRC and a quote for over 1600. I asked for the costs to be reviewed and immediately the price was reduced by 400. Whilst I was glad of the reduction, the fact it was made so quickly left me suspicious. I asked for a full breakdown of costs and this was refused, but they claimed they work in line with their competitors' rates. I asked if I would need to pay for another assessment once the work was done and didn't hear anything back. I looked online for the replacement part and the most expensive one I saw was just over 200, brand new. I asked an independent electrician for a quote and he offered 1100. Another came back with 780. I had to chase to get my EPC certificate twice after receiving an email saying that I should have had it and asking me for feedback. It took a week to get it, in the end (2 weeks after the payment for the certificate was made, which is much later than what they promise on their website). Given that these certificates are mandatory in order to let/sell a property (i.e. move on with my life), the delays at every step were insufferable. Finally, after I wrote a review on Trust Pilot, PropCert disputed the accuracy of it. I was asked to provide evidence of the experience to verify it. I did, but I get the impression that they're trying to manage the reviews to skew them in their favour. When my review was verified, PropCert contacted me with the offer of a 10 refund (I don't consider this a partial refund, given that I spent nearly 200 with them) and a request that I change my review. It's possible that the better reviews aren't even genuine. They said they'd escalate my issues and get back to me. I never heard from them again. Do not trust this company. It is fraught with inefficiency, lack of transparency and seem to be grossly overcharging for their services. I see that they have many one star reviews for the same reasons I've given them such a low score - AVOID!

Liars- Stay away! I've booked EPC testing only after they said I should the cert's within 3 business days. I called a week later as I did not receive the cert's as promised and then they changed the lead time and promised I should have it by the EOD if not tomorrow morning the latest. The same has happened over the next 3 days! They were simply lying in order to take my money, once they get your money they are no longer committed.

Do not use this company. Booked eicr and gas boiler/certificate. After 14 days of chasing they then decided they don't have engineers in Devon. However they then took weeks to refund. Fraudulent company with rude customer service
