Great experience! 5*. Thousand thanks to Mr. Johnathan Larholt and his great teem. Everybody was very professional and friendly. The room and food after, was great!

DO NOT USE THIS HOSPITAL! My wife had a papillomatous lesion removed from her throat (privately) at this hospital. When she went back to consultant to hopefully find out that she could rule out cancer concerns, she was told that the biopsy sample had been lost! The hospital has admitted fault, and we have raised a formal complaint with the CEO of the hospital. However, when we asked for confirmation that they would cover the cost of (now necessary) follow-ups and of getting a second opinion, they have deliberately dragged their heels and refused to respond.

Do not expect any help from this hospital when matters go wrong, they will leave you in the lurch. Bad enough they cannot get things right. 3 consultants missed a worrying finding in all 3 of my daughters scans, all of which done in New Victoria. She had to seek help from her bone surgeon (completely unrelated to the missed finding) in Parkside Hospital because none of the consultants in New Victoria were prepared to put matters right, forget admitting to their mistakes, not once or twice but thrice. My daughter needed to return for urgent biopsy of the missed lump, only 5 days after she was operated on by the same bone surgeon (she was barely mobile). The lack of care and responsibility from New Victoria has been more than disappointing and frightening. When she pursued the consultant for explanations to such poor care, he advised her seek her treatment back in the NHS. Careless, Callous and Irresponsible. I made the grave mistake of not insisting that my daughter sought treatment back in Parkside Hospital. I myself never had issues with Parkside. If New Victoria can treat a doctor so badly, lay people like myself clearly have no hope. My daughter has been as good as being kicked to the curb through no fault of hers. As a parent I am heartbroken and also very angry.

Having been forced by NHS delay, obfuscation and total lack of concern, my wife took the option of having her operation here. Thank goodness for our private medical insurance. This hospital was superb. The staff were very sympathetic and helpful. The facilities were excellent. The whole experience showed us what we are missing in public medicine. Why on earth have we let this happen?
