After losing an enormous amount of weight, I was left with a huge amount of skin hanging all around my stomach and other areas. I did a lot of research to find a qualified Surgeon in this area. I came across Mr Soldin and from the start of the process I felt completely in safe hands. Mr Soldin is an outstanding surgeon, a master sculptor, who completely gave me a shape which I love. He is extremely knowledgeable in his field and very understanding. He listens, actually looks at you while you speak and never rushes you. Mr Soldin gives sound, professional advice and actually in my case would not agree to too much surgery being completed in one go. I have a medical condition and he made sure he contacted the relevant Doctors to ensure I was fit enough to undergo surgery first. He makes you feel like you are his only patient and is always available for questions which pop up. On surgery day he came to see me prior to being taken to pre-op, put me at ease and again immediately after surgery he was there to let me know how it went. I have gone from a size 12-14 to an 8 with no muffin top ! I cannot thank Mr Soldin enough. My whole life has changed since the surgery. I had no complications, my scars are small, neat and faded. I would not go to any other surgeon in the future. I have to also acknowledge Angie. She is his assistant who manages all his appointments, phone calls and will always get back to you when she says she will. She is a kind voice on the end of the phone who will do anything to make your journey through surgery as smooth as possible. A fabulous team, Mr Soldin is an outstanding surgeon.

Neck and Face Lift Mr Soldin had performed an amazing blepharoplasty on my upper eyelids 12 years ago and so, when I decided to look into having a neck and face lift, he was my immediate choice. During my consultation we talked about what I envisaged the outcome of the procedure would be. He then went through all the pros and cons with me and explained what could be achieved. I was very happy to hear that he aims for a natural more youthful look, rather than the American tight face results that I really dislike. He drew a diagram of what the op would entail and went through the whole timeline with me from pre-op, op and post-op recovery. He was very thorough, set me at my ease and answered all my questions and I decided to go ahead. I had my op at Kingston Private Health wing and the care was superb. The staff are all very professional and caring. Mr Soldin had forewarned me that there would be a lot of bruising and swelling, with numbness of my face and so when that happened it was not a huge shock. I only took pain relief for 5 days and really I would class it as discomfort more than pain. I was also told that I may experience some temporary nerve paralysis, which I did develop over my left eye (very much like I imagine Botox would feel), but now 6 weeks post-op I am slowly regaining movement, so I am happy with that. In my opinion the worst part of the recovery process is wearing the face and neck compression garment day and night for 4 weeks after surgery but it really does help the healing process. As I said, I am now 6 weeks post-op and couldn't be happier with the results so far and know this will continue to improve as the residual swelling subsides. I have a defined chin and neckline again and friends are amazed at the difference it has made. Mr Soldin is a true master of his craft and I can highly recommend him Thank you Mr S!

I cant speak highly enough of Mark and his work. After two pregnancies, I was left with a stretched and sagging apron of skin and I knew that I would need surgical intervention to remedy it. We saved and researched our options. I met with two other surgeons before Mark and although they were professional, upon meeting Mark I knew that he would be the best choice to help me. He has a warm bedside manner and at our first meeting went into great detail about what option might be best for me. We decided that my muscle separation wasnt severe and once he explained the down time as well as the rush of it separating again, I decided against muscle repair. An abdominoplasty with lipo to the flanks would achieve what I was after - no more apron and a more feminine profile. He sent me away to consider all that we had discussed and told me to contact his assistant should I wish to proceed. I have to say that I think my mind was already made up, but I took a few days and then spoke with Angie( his assistant), who was always happy to help, and we booked a date. The surgery went smoothly and I came around in a bit of discomfort, but already feeling a bit leaner! Mark is insistent on water intake and mobility in those first few days, and I heeded his advice, which I know aided my recovery. After two nights in hospital, I returned home and my recuperation began. Fairly uneventful, though on about day 3, I experienced a really painful, hot tingling in my outer left thigh. I had experience this over the previous days, but not at this level, and had put it down to bad positioning or perhaps needing to adjust my binder. I contacted Mark and he suggested that it could be the lateral cutaneous nerve, that could( uncommonly) be damaged during surgery. He prescribed something that would help alleviate the pain until the nerve repaired itself. As I write this, I am 8 weeks post op and the nerve pain is improving all the time and I dont think I will need the meds for much longer. Most of my swelling has now gone down, and I am so happy with the fact that I now have a waist and a slim, natural - looking stomach. And its early days - I know my true result will be in a few months once all my swelling has gone. I am so pleased that Mark was the surgeon to help - not only did he equip me with realistic and detailed information, but he also exceeded my expectations with what he achieved. Thankyou Mark.

Mark Soldin is a multi-talented plastic surgeon. He performed minor surgery on my nose and cheek and did an excellent job, leaving very little evidence of his work. His preparation was excellent too - making it clear that this was an urgently needed procedure, explaining it all carefully (even drawing a diagram) and thereby greatly reducing the stress that operations can cause. During the operation he played timeless and melodic music which helped me relax and also explained exactly what he was doing and why. I would recommend him without hesitation.
